The ResMed S9 VPAP Adapt is designed to treat complex sleep apnea disorders, including CompSA, mixed sleep apnea, and Cheyne-Stokes respiration (CSR). It features a Ramp function that lowers pressure for up to 45 minutes, allowing users to fall asleep comfortably before gradually reaching prescribed therapy levels. With two therapy modes—Auto-adjusting EPAP in ASVAuto mode and Fixed EPAP in ASV mode—the device ensures effective, personalized treatment.
Using an advanced ASV algorithm, the S9 VPAP Adapt continuously monitors breathing on a breath-by-breath basis, adjusting pressure support and backup rate to maintain optimal ventilation. In ASVAuto mode, it responds to snoring, obstructive events, and flow limitations for seamless, adaptive therapy. Exclusive to ResMed, the Easy-Breathe waveform mimics natural breathing, providing a comfortable experience even for patients with the most complex Central Sleep Apnea conditions.
